Since the original donation, House of Hope has received 500+ more brand-new formal dresses and accessories from two more donors!
STUART- After a local formal wear store closed its doors a very generous donor offered their unsold inventory to House of Hope’s Stuart thrift store.
Retail manager Donna Vestal excitedly accepted the unique opportunity to raise funds for House of Hope’s programs via the sale of over 500 brand-new gowns.
The thrift store team swiftly set into action clearing a section of their newly expanded Stuart location to create a distinct Formal Wear Department in a matter of days. Handmade white tulle archways, a chandelier, and other formal décor now create a lovely bargain boutique.
The donated inventory consists of hundreds of wedding gowns, bridesmaid’s dresses, children’s dresses, formal gowns, veils and accessories.
While many of the gowns had previously been marked for sale between $500-1000, House of Hope is offering the inventory at deep discounts as a way to raise money for their organization while providing huge savings to local brides-to-be and other formal event attendees.
The formal wear department will remain at the House of Hope Stuart Thrift until the last gown sells and with so many sizes and styles it will not take long for everyone to find their new special gown.
The House of Hope Stuart Thrift Store is located at 2525 SE Federal Hwy in Stuart. For more information about the sale the Stuart thrift store can be reached at (772) 286-4673, ext. 1500.
