Great Give Palm Beach & Martin Counties

Join In Now!

House of Hope will participate in the Great Give Palm Beach & Martin Counties, a 24-hour online giving event led by United Way of Palm Beach County, Achieve, Nonprofits First and United Way of Martin County designed to raise as much money as possible for local nonprofits in a single day. This community-wide event, to be held on May 17 from midnight to midnight, celebrates the spirit of giving and the collective effort it takes to strengthen our community by raising critical funds for local nonprofits.

Every local gift made during the 24-hour period will be multiplied by additional dollars from a bonus pool raised by United Way of Palm Beach County.  To make May 17 even more exciting, participating organizations can compete for hourly cash or otherwise valuable prizes. Over the last three years, Great Give has raised more than $8 million for over 500 nonprofits — the goal is to make an even GREATer impact this year!

House of Hope has a goal of $15,000 to be raised through this special, once-a-year matching gift opportunity. This goal would provide more than 69,000 meals for struggling workers, families, children, seniors, veterans … thousands of other people in crisis in Martin County.

Here’s How it Works:

Match: National and local funders created a bonus pool to match donors’ gifts. Locally, the Great Give is led by the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, United Way of Palm Beach County, Martin County Community Foundation and United Way of Martin County.

Multiply: People could give a donation of $10 or more and it will be multiplied using the bonus pool.

Maximize: The more donations received by House of Hope, the greater the match will be!

All gifts must be made by credit or debit card via the Great Give website starting at 12:00 a.m. May 17. You may also call 1-844-GIVE-DAY (1-844-448-3329) to make a donation over the phone via credit or debit card. The link to our Great Give page is HERE!

Each gift is 100% tax-deductible.
