VNA mobile clinic offers free health care

House of Hope has partnered with the Visiting Nurse Association to serve people at two House of Hope locations.

The VNA’s Florence Nightingale Express is a 38-foot vehicle that includes a fully equipped examination room, a nurse practitioner and a clinic coordinator.

The VNA mobile clinic provides free health care to uninsured people in need.

It can provide basic medical care, such as colds, flu, cuts, rashes and children’s wellness exams, and some chronic disease management, such as high blood pressure or diabetes.

The clinic can see about four patients per hour. People should call the clinic site to make an appointment or to check availability, as special events or mechanical problems can affect the schedule. You do not have to be a House of Hope client to use the mobile clinic.
